Thomas Palm (37) is appointed new CFO in the Kavli Group, effective from the beginning of May.
Thomas is today CFO for the fish farming group Cermaq, with responsibility for finance, treasury, IT and strategy. Cermaq has operations in Norway, Canada and Chile, and is today fully owned by the Mitsubishi Group.
Thomas has over the past 10 years had various management roles in the company, including finance director for Chile and later on for the Norwegian operations, before he became part of the Group Management Team as CFO in 2016. Thomas has previously worked for SEB Corporate Finance and Statkraft, with a main emphasis on Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions.
Thomas holds a Master of Science Degree in Business from Norges Handelshøyskole in Bergen.
Thomas will replace Kjell Christian Bjørnsen, who leaves Kavli at the end of February.
