Facts and figures 

• Kavli was founded in Bergen in 1893 by Olav Kavli.

• The Group’s founder Olav Kavli invented Primula, the World´s first cheese spread in 1924.

• Kavli started a sales office in Stockholm in the beginning of the 1930´s.

• In June 1940 O. Kavli AB was founded and cheese production started in southern Stockholm.

• 1992 O. Kavli AB moved the production to a new modern factory in Älvsjö.

• Today O. Kavli AB is market lead within cheese spread, mayonnaise and dressing.

Today O. Kavli AB manufactures the majority of the products for the Swedish market. The range of products has been expanded over the years and currently we offer products like spreadable cheese, dressings, mayonnaise, crispbread and caviar.
