Q-Meieriene Jæren
Jæren in Rogaland  has some of the most dairy-rich areas in Norway. Southwestern Norway is very flat and has good soil, combined with favorable temperatures, which means that the cows can stay outside much of the year.
This contributes to very good milk quality.

A portion of the milk from Jæren is among other things in use to make cheese that O. Kavli AS again to refine bacon spread cheese and other cheese-products.
Besides regular milk, Q Chocolate Milk is also produced at Jæren.

Gausdal Dairy
Gausdal Dairy is set in idyllic surroundings at the foot of Gudbrandsdalen just north of Lillehammer. There are a total of 120 dairy farms connected, and each farm has an average of 20 cows.
They deliver a total of about 15 million liters of milk a year.
The company had a turnover of milk and dairy products for about 784 million kroner in 2009, compared to 691 million the year before. The main product for Q Gausdal Dairy is Q Skyr, which was launched in 2009, and after a year already captured 50% of light yogurt market in Norway. Fall 2010 Q-Meieriene reported that they will invest 10 million in production to handle the ever increasing demand for Q Skyr.
